Happy Anniversary PUM, and THANKS.

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

It is an honor to be the cover boy of the one year anniversary issue of Podcast User Magazine and to be their very first cover boy to boot.

Here’s to many more, PUM. Keep up the great work!

One night I almost got into a fight in the parking lot of Friendly’s with Cousin Ronny.

Check out the upcoming issue of Podcast User Magazine to see yours truly on the cover! Yes, I am a coverboy and the folks at PUM are nuts…

Look for me on the latest episode (released tonight?) of Brian Hogg’s incredibly warped dotBoom. I play “Dan,” Jason’s father. And, yes, he is a puppet. Some kind of dog-like thing, I guess. You’ll see. Fun stuff, for adults only.

The winners of the New World Son/Joel Parisien CDs are:
Angela T.
Scott W.
Ann-Marie M.
Scot K.

I’ll be sending e-mail to each of the winners soon, with more info. CONGRATS!

Writer looking for “listeners”

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

This was posted to a podcaster mailing list. Thought I would post it here in case you’re interested in giving her some listener perspective…

I need podcast *listeners* to tell me how a podcast has had a
significant effect on your life. For example: Dave Ramsey Podcast
helped someone get out of debt, Grammar Girl got someone an editing
job, Cooper healthy living helped someone start jogging.

I am a freelance writer who has written for National Public Radio,
Natural Health Magazine and San Francisco Examiner, and I am writing
an article on podcasts and how they effect people’s personal lives.

Please tell me your story from the heart, what podcast is you listened
to and how it affected your life. You name and what city you live in
will be included in the article (unless you prefer otherwise).

Thanks,
Kate Harper

#94: U-Turn in Point-One Miles

Monday, January 8th, 2007

I’m back from New York, having had a fantastic vacation. Luckily for this program, the trip coming home went nothing but wrong.

If you’d like a copy of Podcast Solutions, write me at “book at dan klass dot com”

Hey, tell one of your non-podcast listening friends they can subscribe to this program on their new TiVo. It’s easy!
