The Public Radio Talent Quest

So, here is my lame entry in the Public Radio Talent Quest. I am a completely neurotic “auditioner,” so this process was…unpleasant. I would rather improvise for sixty minutes than pitch myself for two.

If you care to, give it a listen, give it a vote. Truth is, if you are a listener of this podcast it will most likely be rather underwhelming. I can’t really imagine distilling two and a half years of podcast material into 120 seconds.

I finally tell the story of July 1st, 1993.

I also nearly ran over an Oscar winner.

Let me know if you have any trouble with this mp3. I am using a new assembly system, and am getting a funky file.

Don’t worry, a new show will be coming soon. I’m way too busy for my own good these days, but need a dose of good old fashioned public complaining to keep things sane.

Retirement Living ChannelYesterday I taped a segment for Living Live! on the Retirement Living Channel on how to find and download podcasts. The show airs Monday at Noon Eastern, 9am Pacific Time. I’ll hopefully get a copy and post it here. The show was hosted by Meshach Taylor and Susan Blakely.
