How do I subscribe to the Premium Pill Prescription?

Can I charge my subscription to a credit card, even if I don’t have a PayPal account?
Sure can. Once you get to the PayPal page in the subscription process, look for the “Don’t have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available)” link. That will give you all the info you need.

Will I need to stay subscribed to the original Bitterest Pill feed?
Only if you want to. Your new premium subscription will give you all the Bitterest Pill shows. The only thing in the “original” feed that won’t be in the premium feed is the occasional “teaser” release. These will be 2-3 min. snippets from premium shows. Nothing you will not have heard before.

What is a feed and what is…”my” feed?
A “feed” is just a specially coded web page that tells iTunes or other “pod-catchers” which episodes are available, and if a new show has been uploaded recently. When you subscribe, you are telling the catcher to check that page for updates.

When you sign up for the Premium Pill, you get your own feed (whether you realize it or not). Chances are you will never need it, or need to know what it is. When you clicked the “iTunes Podcast” button (assuming you’re one of the 98% of Pill listeners using iTunes), iTunes automatically subscribed to the feed.

So, do I need to know the address of this feed thing?
Not really. The only time you would need your feed is if you want to subscribe using one of the methods not included in your original “Thank You” page. If you want to subscribe using your TiVo, or Lemon or…whatever, you’ll need that feed. If you don’t have that info handy, just write me and let me know the e-mail address you subscribed with, and I’ll regenerate the info-packed “Thank you” thing for you.

The latest show isn’t downloading, or it has downloaded but isn’t the full show. What the heck do I do now
I’m not sure what the deal is with the feed/shows/etc. The best thing to do is usually (assuming you’re using iTunes) to DELETE the short show, then (I know this sounds odd) UNSUBSCRIBE (highlight The Bitterest Pill Premium, then click the Unsubscribe button in the lower left). The only shows showing at this point should be the other episodes you’ve already downloaded. Now, click SUBSCRIBE (assuming that The Bitterest Pill premium is still high lighted). The latest show should appear in the list and start downloading.

What if I lose my mind someday and actually want to cancel my subscription?
Wow, I think you may already be nuts for even considering that. Still, if you must you must. One of the reason we have a monthly subscription (instead of annual) is so people can opt in and out at will. If you need/want to cancel, just write me and I’ll get on it right away. There is a way to do it more discreetly via PayPal, but I am still working that out. I will include that info here as it becomes available.

What if I have questions or problems or whatever not covered here? Who do I turn to then?
