I have a short screening at this year’s Collaborative Filmmakers Challenge!

It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks.  I took part in this year’s challege at the urging of my friend Scott Mercer. I had two weeks to create from scratch a 3-6 minute short, inspired by the Adlai Stevenson quote “A free society is a society where it is safe to be unpopular.”

What came out was “Melophobia Americana.”  It’s sort of a…Hitchockian comedy?  Is that a word?  “Hitchcockian?”

I was also nominated for “Best Actor in a Comedy.”

The screening and awards presentation is tomorrow night at the Harmony Gold Theater in Hollywood.  Wish me luck!

The only way to get something done?  Have a deadline… Details on the upcoming podcast.
