When I was a kid, living briefly outside of London, there was a limerick going around that started "There was an old man from Ealing, who had a peculiar feeling..." and ended with "...all over the ceiling." I'll let you fill in the rest.

Little did I know, aside from that wonderful rhyme, Ealing would give us The Brand New Heavies, Freddy Mercury and post-punk band White Lies.
