This time: Listener audio comment from Amy, Sesame Street v. Blues Clues, my dead business elephantdisc.com, then I ramble on and on about the interview on The Majority Report with Prof. Lawrence Lessig regarding copyright law and director Robert Greenwald (whose name I can never seem to remember). What an idiot I can be. Luckily I sneak a star sighting story in there to try to save the day. This time: Bebe herself.
Errr… either I’m insane (entirely possible), or the header of this post points to BP8.mp3, while the link in the body points to BP9.mp3.
I thought I sensed some deja vu when listening to the beginning of the latest show.
Oops. Nice catch. That’ll teach me to try to do this stuff late a night.

Thanks a million. Trying to keep it sane…

Your show is great! Tonight I’m listening to the ones I’ve not heard yet; my three year-old son is finally asleep, at least for a while.
Random stuff similar to Sesame Street v. Blues Clues that came to mind: Dora’s helpful use of Spanish is cool in a world that still does a lot to promote “your race” vs “their race”.
Or more silly (sorta): why on Max and Ruby do you never see an adult taking care of Max? It’s always Ruby, the slightly-older sister, tasked with what their parent(s) should be doing…
It’s late here in Ireland if this is what I’m making sure to share in a typed comment. Maybe I’ll give a shot at an audio comment next time and see if I can equal Amy’s approach. Sounds like there should be a Chicago Manual of Podcast Style soon, suggesting structure to a true anarchy.

Dan, since you mentioned Air America (which I listen to almost non-stop thanks to my XM Radio boom box) and Jeanene Garofalo’s show in particular, was your choice of name of “The Bitterest Pill” related to their choice of “Going Underground” as a new theme song? A little Jam synchronicity perhaps? Hmmmmm?
Okay, you caught me, I’m kidding around. Seriously, it’s a great little show so far. And for those interested in those pesky copyright issues, check out http://eldred.cc.
