Welcome New York Times readers! Yes, I am underemployed and therefore had time to record a new podcast! Now who’s the lucky one?
I play a secret outtake from the Podcast Solutions interview with Brian from Coverville. Don’t miss this one. We hear from Jason, C.C. Chapman and the ladies from The Deep End of the Carpool. Thanks everyone!
Last Saturday, I had new headshot photos taken, and someone almost killed Mongo!

photography by Mark Bennington. Celebrity voices impersonated. End-show theme by Dave of Chub Creek. End-show montague by Thrasher UK.
I don’t know, removing the cartoon of you and posting an actual photo might take away some of the mystery and intrigue.
I agree…
That totally sucks about the car. I’m curious as all hell to see your headshots. Weird that they’ve gone color out on the west coast. It’s still all B&W here for now.
This was one of your best casts so far. Few things are more funny than the misery of others. Especially when told well.
Sorry it had to be you. 🙂
I do have to admit I’m curious about that headshot. The current cartoon image is still a very good image, so I’ll manage.
Oh man.. Sorry to hear about the car, that really sucks! :
I enjoyed the podcast, as always. and I am curious to see the pictures as well.
See you later, Dan!

Another brilliant show! The Bitterest Pill is truly one of the finest shows out there, and this show is a perfect example of why. The part at the end was just fantastic. Thank you for putting out your podcast!
After listening for a while, I am now a fan. I was listening to this cast on my ipod enduring a two hour flight delay. Returning home to Atlanta after being out of town all week on a rough assignment I could relate to your bad week and like you, the young lady podcasters in some small way, cheered me up also.
Thank you.
Funny, growing up we also had a car named Mongo. It was a 1970 Dodge Dart with a Slat 6. (We also had Backster and Big Blue, and later Old Yeller and El Blanco)
