  1. So you, in all you oppinionated wisdom mentioned the appropriate age for trick or treating. i disagree, would you rather have them drunk endangering the other younger sweet fanatics, or egging/toilet papering your house along with the other kids that got told they were “too old” and have nothing to do. Trick or treating is the better choice for people, regardless of age.

  2. Wow, Emo, either “trick or treating” or “drinking and valdalizing,” those are the only options? I guess I’d choose the candy option. (Frankly, I don’t remember what we did in those days between passing the bag and passing the bottle. I think there was a lot of making out in there somewhere…)

J.L. – the cartoon head was for a Flash thing I was pitching around after I got the deal with Pop.com. It was going to be for a cartoon called “Cult of Dan” that was my stand-up but animated. I was close to getting another deal when the whole industry popped (no pun intended).

  3. I went trick or treating this year and I’m in high school. :/ But I figure I’m just making up for all the years lost. I didn’t get to trick or treat until I was 13. 13! Such a deprived childhood I had.

  4. Hi Dan,

sorry to bother you, but I can’t see you lastest show in itunes.

Perhaps it is a problem with the German itunes (6.0.1 MacOSX). Anyway I can’t see the latest show neither in my subscribtions nor in the music store overview thingy.

    Keep up the great work.

Greetings from your greatest fan in Germany
    Hannes

  5. congrats on your podcasting anniversary!
i don’t podcast, but i’ve been listening to podcasts only slightly longer than you’ve been doing them and all those folks to whom you give props are among the first shows i regularly listened and, for the most part, still do. and, just like you Dan, it was especially Michael Butler’s Rock and Roll Geek Show that hooked me. (side note: even though i am sure Dawn & Drew are still quite popular, they began to bore me after a couple of months.) it’s been fun watching podcasting grow from a grassroots movement to the big sensation it has become.
thanks for being part of it and producing great shows!

    cheers
