#65: Heaven, But With Vertigo

I climbed the inside of The Matterhorn at Disneyland and learned that you can’t spend your entire life on the platform just below the top.

This time I also talk about El Segundo, coffee and Guiness, Good Stuff , the food for your earthquake kits, Ralphs…

Second Draft: “It is better to drive a long distance to go to a grocery store that you know than it is to go to the one you don’t know that’s across the street.”

All I want is a medium decaf and a small pizza. DON’T SCHOOL ME, BARISTA!

Our musical guest this time is Jon Sebastian of Viper Bite Radio .

  1. Hey, congrats on the second printing of the book! And of course you can spend your whole life on the platform just below the top…that’s what leaves room for those people above you. 😉

  2. Dan,

Disney Land cured me of my fear of heights. Along with a girl named Jill. I was so into her I would follow her anywhere. She was seriously into roller coasters. After a day of following her around and going on every roller coaster in the park, I realized I wasn’t going to die.

I now routinely work on top of 20 story buildings. I don’t hang off the edges, but I don’t worry about falling off, or the big one hitting, just because I’m there at that moment.

Good luck with the heights. Great episode. I still think you should have had the SWAT team put table number 3 through the chipper shredder.

  3. I remember a news story from back in the ’80s (I think) where a customer shot the clerk at a Burger King because the clerk refused to give him his fish sandwich until he stopped ordering it by its McDonalds name and used the Burger King name instead.

  4. I suspect that’s thereason general public want to read blog….Internet visitors generally create blogs to declare themselves or their secret views. Blog grant them same matter on the monitor screen what they specifically needed,so as the above stuffs declared it.

  5. My main concern is that you can’t guarantee every page of your website will be included in the SERPs. Considering I’m constantly adding new products to my company’s website, I need to be sure that customers can find them as soon as possible.http://www.seoptimizerz.com
