Scott Sigler and Dan Klass: seperated at birth?
I admit it, I am no master interviewer. However, sci-fi writer/podcast star Scott Sigler is a facinating guy and a true pioneer in the world of “podiobooks.” I loved finally talking to Scott, since I am a huge fan of his Earthcore and his current podcast novel, Infection.
It’s a fascinating look into the mind of the hardest working man in gore.
Lou Diamond Philips as Connel Kirkland? I guess you never know…
We talk about the books and podcasts, being the “steel toed boot” of authors, Ancestor coming out in print in 2007, the future of Sigler works on the screen including his upcoming feature-length podcast movie, and 7th Son. And, of course, we talk smack about Evo Terra.

It’s sad when your comb-over cartoon is better-looking than my actual face.
Ive finally got categorycasting support released as part of podPress 5.1, so you can split up the feeds for users that want JUST the pill, JUST “The Other Podcast” or stay with the main feed to get both.
Lets get in touch soon and get this all worked out
oh, forgot to say… great show. Its fun to hear Scott doing his media wh0re thing on your podcast. Go Scott!
what is Bigspace?
BigSpace is a short sci-fi comedy segment that Scott Sigler sometimes plays at the end of the Infection podcasts. Funny stuff, very well produced. Check it out some time.
Ah ok
Dan –
Thanks for the interview with Scott, I hadn’t even tapped into the whole podio book scene yet. i downloaded earthcore and finished listening in three days. I’ve already pulled down three more books that i am going to go through when i can get the time.
One of your best qualities is that you are not shy about banging the drum for your fellow podcasters. Through your show, i have gotten tuned into podiobooks, verge of the fringe, cush, norm augustinus, and the list goes on and on…
The tagline of your show should be:
The Bitterest Pill: gateway drug into the world of podcasting…
Well done, Dan! you have an excellent blog!
