A show in three short bits. Yes, I know, this show is shorter (36 min.) than the usual premium show (usually around an hour). Frankly, I fought it, but this show just wanted to be this length. If you feel short changed, let me know, but this show is this show and apparently it’s out of my hands.
Okay, back to the three parts: 1) We bought new, cheap shelves and a new cheap desk for the kids at IKEA. Well, before you move all that stuff in, just make sure you realize: not only do you have to assemble it, stain it and varnish it, you also have to reengineer it so that it doesn’t fall and crush your children. 2) I had a excellent call back for a commercial the other day. Just excellent. They loved me. LOVED. Did I get the commercial? What do you think? 3) I went to my first martial arts class in two or three years. My biggest fear was not being punched in the face or kicked in the jewels, it was that I would throw up on someone’s uniform. I am studying karate, and white shows everything…
And, yes, I know that Jonathan Coulton did a song called/about IKEA. It plays in an endless loop in my head as I wait in line there for a $2.50 jumbo dog. The meatballs look…lethal.
This episode is currently only available to Premium Pill subscribers.
Dan, you’ve got to do something about the lack of release dates. Every premium episode (yes, I pay through the nose here, so I’ve got entitlement ;P) does not have a release date. This means problems with sorting and a new one I discovered today. I downloaded this latest at work because I’m a little low on bandwidth at home temporarily. When I dragged it into iTunes, it was put at the bottom of the list of episodes. iTunes can only put it in the right order if it’s got a release date or if it downloaded it itself, thus it can tell which came after which.
Please get this sorted out. It was never a problem with the free feed, which I can’t go back to now that I’m getting all this extra Dan ramble (excepting this one of course ;P)
I’m a perfectionist from Australia. That doesn’t mean that Australians are necessarily perfectionists. The two facts are both present but unrelated. Thank you.

NAME COPY !!!!
and i agree with Jason!
Waiting for word back re: released dates from the gents that make it all happen. I’ll keep you posted.
THANKS FOR LISTENING!
But the blog says the name of the new show and a new one comes out every week without fail. What’s the problem?! My itunes feed (on a Mac if that makes any difference) lists each show in show order, so it’s easy to see the latest one.
Excellent new show by the way. Ah, Ikea. Saw a National Geographic show recently about the company and how it was still pretty much family controlled. You do have to hand it to them, they are specialists in driving the price down and, personally, everything we have bought is still working, though that desk top did look a little odd. Surely you are supposed to use the separately supplied leg end?
Its an interesting topic and should be discussed. Ill check back soon for any added comments, thanks.
Did you totally agree with the top half of this? The rest was fine and informative.
