Yes, there was a time when I used to actually get parts in TV shows and movies (I almost said “I used to act in TV shows and movies, but I thought that was stretching it a bit). Thanks to the folks at Hulu, here’s an episode of The Pretender I am in from way back in…well, frankly, I don’t remember. All I really remember is that I hung out with Daniel Dae Kim, long before he was one of the stars of Lost. Hell of a nice guy.
I’m in it around 19:35 and 31:42, give or take. Enjoy.
If you don’t remember The Pretender, it’s about a guy who goes around pretending to be other people to avoid being captured by that grouchy chick from JAG. Something like that…
“What the hell is going on?!” Such conviction, such command. Dan, I truly believed you were interested in finding out what the hell was, in fact, going on. Well done!
Some day, I hope my humble little country gets invaded by the United States. Then I won’t get that message saying “We’re sorry, currently our video library can only be strreamed withing the United States”.

Being a huge fan of The Pretender, I had often hoped for the days that they would make the “angry-little-man-with-clipboard” a recurring character…much like Huggy Bear from Starsky and Hutch or Izzy from Miami Vice. Alas, despite my weekly letters to NBC and one-man protests in the lobby of NBC studios, I garnered nothing but a restraining order.
Hawt angry man with clipboard!
Yeah baby!
Nice work.
“What the hell is going on here?”
I saw the lead Pretender dude at Starbucks the other day.
Hulu is pretty damn slick.
I like the pretender too thanks for showing the clip
