Today I talk about the shocking events at the dojo and how I need to get even more exercise (and that’s an order). Also, we tented the house this past week, which was supposed to force me to take a few days off of working and running around and worrying and all that. Instead, it turned into tenting-and-traveling-to-work. Nice.
I did get the chance to interview several members of the US Olympic Swim Team for Speedo. Turns out I was being more open with them than I ever imagined…

Loved the new show. Intro was awesome. AWESOME.
Termites infesting your house – too gross! I never realised it was such a problem. I guess living in a warm climate does have its downsides too. I tell you, my wife wouldn’t spend a night there with all those little friends – ones invisible to the eye you can cope with but not termites, not in a supposed modern country. I understand tenting doesn’t stop future infestations, just solves the current one.
Wonderful episode. I love the way you tell stories. This episode is a good reminder that we are not getting any younger and need to take care of ourselves. Keep up the great work! Oh, and BREATHE! 🙂 I’m breathing too.
“and then, in a flash, he’s gone.”

Dan I think this was one of your best (listening for as I’ve mentioned “at least two iPods…” but have never visited the site until today!!
I listened to this on the way home to LA from my dad’s house on a Sunday evening – you know Sunday evening..the time where the neurotic anxiety starts to creep up, worries about just about everything, etc. Please visualize me breathing in and out to your voice!!! Really great story and as one of the more ahem..mature .. people at my gym I can totally relate to that moment when we realize that not only are we not among the youngest in a group, but scientifically and statistically….we’re just closer to the end. GULP.
nice article thanks,
