#142: Put Me in the Zoo

Leash kidsThe Tale: The kids and I went to the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens, to have lunch and complain about the heat. Par for the course with the Klass family. Sure we saw a couple zebras, half a gorilla and the top of the lion, but all it in it was a wonderfully hot and sweaty day. The great thing is, I could have stayed how and had the kids complain for free if I’d just made them walk endlessly around the back yard. When, exactly, will I learn?
Extra: I give our perspective on the recent Los Angeles earthquake, and then we get a visit from none other than Princess Trooper/Tirade.

The kids are obsessed (today) with Club Penguin. Whatever…

  1. Jason –

I’ve been meaning to record an opening for ever. REALLY need to.

Izmir, what is the point of spamming my site when the link goes to a page none of us can read! GET YOUR BOTS IN ORDER! ENOUGH!

  2. Actually, I kind of look forward to Dan’s newly crafted version of the same ol’ opening info every week. How he does it is always kind of telling of the mood he is in.

  3. Man I am with you 100% on the zoo trips. Our tactic, if you can call it that, is to get to the zoo the moment it opens and then fill in the gaps in the chaos with regular snacks and drinks plus the promise of a treat in the shop if they are good. Roll with it until they start to hit each other, then go home, where they will fall asleep in the car and then be up til 10pm!!

  4. Dan, Where’s my premium feed? Was it something I said or was it the recent iTunes 7.7.1(11) update? How do I get it back? I want to know what happened at the zoo!

  5. Hi Dan
I really enjoy the show and I am a premium show subscriber. Are the shows in the archive available in pod cast? Currently they don’t show up in my collection and I can only listen to them from my computer. Can you make them available or is there some setting that I need to change with Zune Market Place?

Thank again for all the time an energy that you put into each pod cast.
