#267: Forever a Homing Pigeon

Hudson has been doing a lot of video projects for school.  Sure, he had to edit a project or two for his “News” elective, but he’s also been writing/directing/producing/etc. video for social studies, Spanish and…PE?  Needless to say, he is burned out.  And so is his tech support guy.  To finish his PE video on time, we had to get up at 5am and throw a box at a possum.  That was the same day I had to go to a wardrobe fitting and seem normal, and had three hours to kill in Hollywood.  How do I spend three hours in Hollywood?  By driving to Los Feliz and feeling like a middle-aged square, that’s how.

I was too hungry to call my friend Cush to get lunch together, so I just got a slice down the hill from his house and tried to not watch a girl change her clothes in her car.  Yes, that is the majesty of Los Feliz.  My plans to work on my resumé at the local library were thwarted by our recognition of veterans of the military, so I sat by the reservoir in my car.

Eventually, I drove home and learned that even punks mellow out and become middle-aged dads.  Eventually.

  1. A couple of people have mentioned that, so I just checked into it, and I accidentally had some echo on the voice track when I was putting the show together. Oops.

I’m exporting it again now, sans echo. Will be on-line (replacing the original) later today.

    THANKS ADRIAN (and Todd)!
