#289: No Parking and No On-Demand

I’m having a hard time accepting that it’s June.  June means that we’re at the half way mark, right?  So, I should have half a year’s worth of stuff accomplished, right?  Well, yeah, right…

My wife and I have been without our cable company’s on-demand service for a couple months now. We’ve called, rebooted the cable box, swapped cable boxes…finally we had the cable guy come over.  He couldn’t figure it out.  Listen, I know these are not really problems, expect that my wife really wants to watch On-Demand and she really thinks I should be about to make that happen…

I worked on a short film last weekend with my old friend Gordy.  I don’t get that many chances to work as an actor, especially with such an old and dear friend.  The main thing on my mind all day?  Parking.

  1. Pretty much all we watch now is on demand or streaming, be it BBC iPlayer, Netflix (Great, but not as good as USA Netflix) and several others, and mostly on the ipad or via the PS3. Seems all you really need is a semi decent internet, and man is it frustrating to have IP problems etc. I have never looked back on all this from getting an Airport Extreme 2 band router. Everything just seems more reliable.
