I spent two weeks this spring writing, acting in and directing a short called “Melophobia Americana” as part of this year’s Collaborative Filmmaker’s Challenge. The short ended up screening at the event, and I won the “Best Actor in a Comedy” award. Pretty sweet.
Now, the short is not without its flaws. It was shot in a hurry, with never more than three people on the set (including actors) at a time. The scene in the garage I shot by myself. It was a blast. And, I actually did it. I finished it. On time. It screened. People laughed. That’a all I could hope for.
Here is a link to the CFC’s YouTube posting of the short. Hope you enjoy it!
