#211: Teach Me, Doggy Lovers and Bakers All!

I had a brainstorm while recording this show: The Dan Klass New Media Summer Camp!  You give me lots of money and I’ll teach your kids podcasting next summer!  Whadda ya say!  Registration for Summer 2011 starts soon!  Don’t be left out!

We went to the annual adopt-a-doggie day event at Westchester Park.  We saw lots of dogs and a couple of “celebrities.’  I have to say this: Denise Richards, in real life, looks like she was created by Stan Lee.

To learn how to keep your dog safe and sound, check out Melanie Monteiro’s “Safe Dog Handbook” book and many instructional videos.

We went to the cultural fair held at the kids’ school.  And so did our “rainbow cookies.”  Eventually.

  1. 3 MONTHS!!! Man, I don’t know how you cope – 6/7 weeks here from late July to early September and even then most parents really struggle with childcare and to find things to do. What a great idea – you pay a fortune to send your kids to school and then you have to pay again for the “closed” months, for Summer camps etc.

We got a chocolate lab 6 months ago, he just turned 1 (but is about 40 kilo’s!). We LOVE HIM as much almost as the kids. He’s lying on my sofa right now asleep and snoring loudly…:-) I’d recommend getting a dog, but get the right kind for you.
