Exactly how often are you supposed to change your underwear? Every day? Twice a day? Every time you bathe? Every time your dad does laundry? I seemed to have fallen into a habit of changing my jeans about once a month or so. I wear the same jeans until I can smell them when standing up. When I can smell them sitting, I know it’s almost time to wash them. Once I’m standing, they’re in. When exactly did this new laundry tracking system fall into place. Oh, yeah, when we had kids…
Apparently, yelling at the kids to be on time is only making them late. Maybe I should yell at them to be late?
Why are all the old people in the area trying to keep me from putting air in my tires? All I want to do is get my front right tire to 34 psi. Why is that so hard? I’ve got cash and only a couple of minutes. Why can’t anyone just get the heck out of the way?
Ok, first of all my family is with Hudson. When we change from day clothes to night clothes no matter if a bath has been had (and usually there is one every night) new underwear is part of the routine. My kids even like a fresh towel every time they take a shower – I know – I am running this house like a hotel!
The jean thing cracks me up because last Christmas we had a family “fight” if you had to wash your jeans every time. It started because my niece wants her’s washed every time and her mom said no. I was like what?! (So you know what camp I am in.) I have been informed that your jeans will last longer if you do not wash them every time – but I don’t care. However, I don’t judge you – just don’t sit in my car. LOL
My son, especially now that he drives (CHOKE), I have no problem getting to school on time because I make him leave early to avoid all the craziness of morning rush hour. My daughter, who is 13 and in 8th grade, will be the death of me. She doesn’t want to get up and get going – but she wants the hair straitened and the makeup and the jewelery. She has not been late YET – but we are getting real frickin’ close.
Hate to be the one to point out the obvious Dan, but Hudson is probably jacking off into the pants he started the day with (sorry, British, so they are pants).
Amazing, we have the same conversations with our kids about going to school, and we walk there, less than 1/2 mile.
Wayne – nice – real nice. You probably have just bent Dan’s brain!
Especially after Hudson’s “Dad, there are girls EVERYWHERE!” LOL
I used to be a teenage boy RZ, a LONG time ago now, so I know the score…so does Dan.
Been thinking about a couple of things…
1. I’ve never understood why Americans seem to want to use power to dry their washing, when surely they are blessed in most places with free heat – the sun? Even in the UK, pretty much 6-8 months a year, we can easily put the washing line across and dry our washing and then get the washing line down. In the summer, about 30 minutes. For one, it is free, two you don’t lose half the fibres of the clothes as you do in a tumble dryer and three (and most importantly) it just smells so damned nice, especially new air dried sheets.
I suppose I could ask the question about solar power too…seems a complete no-brainer…especially in California.
2. If Melissa works at home and the kids have to be in so early, why does she not take them to school now and then? If she has time to go running…might make a change from busting your balls about stuff…and allow you to get some of your stuff done.
Wayne – I too know the score – I am not a teenage boy but I do have one. I was just kidding. You know how riddled with anxiety Dan gets. lol
Two – where is the fun in your #2 comment if she can’t bust his balls? He is her ASSISTANT – you never assist the assistant. My favorite time was when she promised the kids to make cookies and then pawned it off of Dan so she could go running. (Did you sunblock the kids in the kitchen Dan? You know the sun might be shining in the window.)
Greetings again from Northern Cali… you don’t need Nestle syrup, try adding in Ovaltine. SO good, and at least has some vitamins in it. 🙂
Enjoy!
Wendy
Dan –
It is a smoothie website!

I am not getting your point. Clean Underwear and Full Tires what is the relation between this two things?
