We had to go to a music recital today at our son’s school…Grrrrrr. Can’t anyone figure out how to set things up so the parents can actually see their children? Clearly I should never go to these things before I’ve eaten a decent breakfast, because everything makes me angry.
Also, I tell the tale of my audition as a dead body from a promo for CSI.
My apologies for using the word “ass” again, and to Chinese men everywhere.

A station up here in the Bay Area (CA). Hired Greg Kihn, to do a show. He tells stories of his rocker days, and still manages to play a few gigs. (with the radio station sponsoring it) So I don’t think CC came up with an original thought.
My wife (a teacher) hates speaking to adults (finds it very difficult), but can command 20 kids to do her simple bidding.
Breeding image burned into the brain… Help…(lol)
The Office (american style) will NEVER live up to the British Office. They are close, and watch-able, but not as funny. I think I miss the “dirty slang”
Maybe because you were the only Small guy to show up. (you were easy to carry) I Hate to take off my shirt too. I use the skin cancer excuse, to get out of it.
Great show, one of my favorites.
Great show again, Mr. Klass! They should put you on full-time on that damn CSI in my opinion.
Well told…. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the story!
Hi Dan,
I’m a new listener and I just wanted to say how much I love the show. I’m working on catching up on all those old shows. Anyways, your podcast is very cool. Lots of platonic love from Grant in Toronto! And I completely agree about the Disney Vault and the minivan stick figures which thankfully are not in Canada (yet). And Hudson, happy belated birthday! You’re the coolest six-year-old kid I know and I don’t even really know you. Anyways, you’re amazing on the air, especially for a kid your age. Maybe it’s that no-pokemon thing. . .congrats to you and your dad for amusing me on my commute. More Hudson! How much of your mail is Hudson fan mail?
Hi Dan,
I’m a fellow podcast from Scotland (www.tartanpodcast.co.uk) and I’ve been listening to your show at work. I’ve really enjoyed it (I let my wife hear the part about the butch mum haircut – she’s been talking about getting hers cut..).
I’ve got a 5 year old son and 5 month old daughter, so much of what you talk about rings very true…
Keep it up!
Mark
Dan,
The bit about your audition has to be on the best of CD!

Dan, Dan, Dan. My son. Please don’t feel any pressure when you’re around those of us who are in the GodCast Network. “The eyes of the Pope…”???
I can’t stand that kind of pressure!
Hey Dan Klass,
I really love your show, Mr. X told me about it and I’ve been hooked ever since, you’re really funny.:)
I’m really excited to see and hear more about the CSI promo, keep us posted!:)
I’m reminded about the time Wil Wheaton blogged about his gig in a CSI episode. Can’t wait to hear the rest of your experiences. I immensely enjoyed your report so far.

hey everyone. im new to podcasting but dans two shows are great. check out new80smusic.com . its good to see dan has good taste in music too.
Dan–one of the best podcasts yet. The CSI story reminded me of the late, great Spaulding Gray (obviously, you should only use him as a model so far…)
