Over Memorial Day weekend, I was in a short film. Called Memorial Day. The short is written and directed by Gordy Hoffman, whom I’ve known since I was about thirteen years old. So, to celebrate getting together, I brought along my thirteen year-old son. We had a great time working with Gordy’s great cast and crew. The plan is to submit the shot to festivals, and since Gordy has a rather distinguished festival past (he won the Waldo Salt screenwriting award at Sundance for his script for Love Liza), I have high hopes. I’m not sure how much I’m actually in it, but I’m rooting for everyone. We can all keep track of Memorial Day’s progress on Facebook. Stop by and “Like” it. Check out the cast. Mostly young, attractive girls. Well done, Gordy…
