While recently poking around the servers, I found that this old gem is still on-line. Wow. Hudson’s first appearance on the podcast back in 2004.
I hope to get a new show out before the end of the year. If you don’t hear from me, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

a.k.a. “A Podcaster is Born.” This special non-subscription edition is co-hosted by my 5 3/4 year old son, Hudson. Wow. I thought the whole thing was going to be a train wreck, but he ended up doing such a great job (clearly I’m biased) that I thought I’d include it here as a “*Special Presentation.” He says he wants to do a regular podcast called “The Hudson Original.” I think we have another convert.
He and I talk about today’s disasters with the Wesson oil and the tipping tree, and then recommend some Christmas CDs (his pick: James Brown). Finally, we wrap things up by playing “Joy to the World” by The Butties, a former Syracuse University Beatles cover band whose music has been featured on Scrubs and Christmas With the Kranks. Special thanks to Mark Humble of The Butties for sending me the CD, and to all The Butties for allowing us to play their music.
*I realize that most people think their own children are just priceless, and that other people’s kids are a complete bore, which is why this is not part of the regular show.
